Diverse Support for Kamala Harris's Campaign

Various diverse groups, including Black women, Black men, South Asians, and white women, have rallied to support Kamala Harris's presidential campaign. The 'White Dudes for Harris' group, consisting of prominent figures like Bradley Whitford, Tim Walz, Pete Buttigick, Josh Groban, Lance Bass, and Mark Hamill, held a successful inaugural meeting with 60,000 attendees.

Democratic organizers organized the meeting to demonstrate solidarity and raise funds. In addition, other affinity groups, such as 'Cat Ladies' and Latino voters, have held Zoom rallies to support Harris.

As Harris narrows down her pool of potential running mates, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer have ruled themselves out. Other potential candidates include Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Arizona Senator Mark Kelly.
