Colorado Wildfires: Tragedy Strikes with One Fatality and National Guard Deployment

Amid Colorado's battling wildfires, Governor Polis deploys the National Guard following the death of one individual. The Stone Canyon fire near Lyon is 20% contained after scorching over 1,500 acres, while the Alexander Mountain fire, only 1% contained, has consumed more than 7,600 acres.

Evacuation orders for 575 homes in Conifer and Loveland have been issued, with reports of an 85-year-old individual being evacuated. Tragically, the Boulder Sheriff confirms a fatality.
