Kadyrov Claims Musk Deactivated Cybertruck Amid Ukraine Conflict

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has accused Tesla CEO Elon Musk of remotely deactivating a Cybertruck that Kadyrov allegedly received from Musk. Kadyrov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, had boasted about equipping the vehicle with a machine gun and using it in the Ukraine conflict. He labeled Musk's action as 'not manly' and criticized the tech mogul's methods. Musk, however, denied ever gifting a Cybertruck to Kadyrov, dismissing the claim as a lie propagated by established media.

Kadyrov's accusations emerged on his Telegram channel, where he previously showcased the Cybertruck, referring to it as a 'Cyberbeast.' He claimed the vehicle had performed admirably in combat situations in Ukraine. The Chechen leader also shared a video of himself driving the Cybertruck through the streets of Grozny, the Chechen capital. Despite Musk's denials, Kadyrov continues to assert that the Cybertruck played a significant role in the conflict, aiding Russian military efforts.

This incident comes amid ongoing tensions in Ukraine, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported significant advances. Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region had forced Russia to redeploy 40,000 soldiers, weakening its attack potential on the Donetsk front. Zelenskyy is set to visit the U.S. to meet with President Joe Biden and other key figures, including former President Donald Trump, to discuss further strategies and support for Ukraine.

The controversy surrounding the Cybertruck highlights the intersection of technology, warfare, and international diplomacy, raising questions about the ethical responsibilities of tech giants like Tesla in global conflicts.
