Tragic Avalanche Claims Life of Hiker in Tyrol

A tragic avalanche in the Tyrolean Alps has claimed the life of a 71-year-old hiker from Germany. The man, who was part of a larger group, was buried on Saturday.

Search efforts were hampered by severe weather and avalanche risks, forcing rescuers to pause their operations for several days. Once conditions improved, the search resumed, leading to the discovery of his body in the Karwendel region.
