Biden Vows Continued Support for Ukraine Amidst Rising Tensions

In a significant meeting in Washington, President Joe Biden assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of unwavering U.S. support. Biden declared that Russia will not prevail in the ongoing conflict, emphasizing that the U.S. will stand by Ukraine every step of the way. This commitment was underscored by the announcement of an additional $8 billion in aid, including long-range ammunition. However, Biden refrained from endorsing Ukraine's request to use Western-supplied weapons against targets inside Russia, due to concerns about escalating the conflict into a direct confrontation with Russia.
