Devastating Fires Impact Agricultural Properties

Recent fires in agricultural settings have resulted in significant property damage and disruptions. In Cuxhaven, approximately 380 hay bales were engulfed in flames, creating thick smoke that hampered visibility.

The estimated loss stands at 20,000 euros. Meanwhile, a separate incident in Ostallgäu involved a fire in a barn, causing damage exceeding one million euros.

This fire, which erupted under unclear circumstances, endangered a nearby residence but fortunately resulted in no injuries. The incident also led to the temporary closure of a nearby railway line.
