A significant police operation recently disrupted a gathering of the right-wing extremist micro-party III. Weg in Hachenburg, Germany. The event was held at the Fassfabrik, notorious as a right-wing hub, attracting participants from across Germany and the Netherlands. Over 200 police officers were deployed to dissolve the meeting, which was strategically disguised as a sports event to evade prior registration requirements.

The gathering, involving around 130 attendees, was centered around a martial arts event intended to strengthen the party's National Socialist, anti-Semitic, and racist ideologies. While no arrests were made, the police recorded personal details of the participants and are investigating potential violations of drug and weapons laws. Several right-wing extremist items were seized during the raid.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution has long been monitoring the III. Weg party, which regularly uses the Fassfabrik for self-defense training and social events aimed at promoting their radical ideologies. Among the attendees were minors, highlighting the party's troubling reach and influence. Despite no immediate arrests, the police's actions underscore ongoing efforts to curb the spread of extremist ideologies in the region.
