Windstorm Wreaks Havoc in Berlin and Brandenburg

The Lausitz regional control center reported 60 to 70 weather-related incidents, including damage to roofs and vehicles. As the storm moves from Denmark towards the Baltic Sea, gusts of up to 80 km/h are anticipated. This intense weather has also disrupted regional train services, with several routes blocked by fallen trees. In Berlin, the fire brigade responded primarily to blocked roads and debris from fallen trees. The German Weather Service has issued warnings for further stormy conditions. Despite these disruptions, temperatures remain moderate, ranging from 12 to 14 degrees. The weather is expected to be initially cloudy on Monday, with occasional sunshine and some rain in the afternoon.
