Super Typhoon Yinxing Approaches Vietnam's Coast

Super Typhoon Yinxing is rapidly intensifying, with maximum sustained winds reaching 195 km/h. It is set to enter Vietnam's East Sea, impacting the central coast, particularly Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang.

This powerful storm has already resulted in eight fatalities and fourteen injuries. As it approaches, authorities are on high alert, anticipating severe weather conditions, including winds of up to 201 km/h and dangerous wave heights.

The weather institute predicts several more typhoons this year, with two to three potentially affecting mainland Vietnam. Nearby regions, including Hong Kong, are also preparing for Yinxing's approach, which may prompt precautionary warnings.
