German Shipping Companies Threatened by Houthi Militants

German shipping companies have recently been targeted by threatening emails from the pro-Iranian Houthi militia in Yemen. The Verband Deutscher Reeder (VDR), an association of German shipowners, reported these incidents as deliberate intimidation attempts.
