Georgia Freezes EU Accession Talks Amid Controversial Elections

The political landscape in Georgia has been shaken following Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's decision to suspend the country's European Union accession talks until the end of 2028. This pause comes after the European Parliament condemned Georgia's October parliamentary elections, citing them as neither free nor fair.
