Northvolt Crisis Sparks Financial Concerns in Germany

The Swedish battery manufacturer Northvolt, currently building a factory in Schleswig-Holstein, has applied for restructuring under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code. This development has sparked significant financial concerns, as Northvolt had received a 600 million euro loan from Germany's KfW bank, backed equally by the federal government and the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
