Wisdom: The Remarkable Journey of the Oldest Wild Bird

Wisdom, the 74-year-old Laysan albatross, has made headlines by laying a new egg at the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. This extraordinary bird, known as the oldest living wild bird, has a remarkable history. She was first banded as an adult in 1956 and has since laid approximately 60 eggs, successfully raising 30 chicks.
