A Heartwarming Christmas for the Homeless

Frank Zander's annual Christmas dinner at Hotel Estrel Berlin has become a beacon of hope for the homeless. This year, over 2,500 guests were treated to a festive meal featuring traditional dishes like goose and red cabbage.

The event, which has been organized since 1995, also included entertainment from pop stars, creating a joyous atmosphere. Zander and his family, recognized with the Federal Cross of Merit for their efforts, continue to make a significant impact.

Following the pandemic, the initiative adapted by providing mobile food stalls to support those in need. A moment of silence was observed in remembrance of the victims of a recent attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg.

Supported by his son Marcus and grandson Elias, Zander's unwavering dedication to helping the vulnerable remains inspiring, as he also works with Caritas through his foundation to offer further assistance.
