As Radium Lampenwerk scales down, it will relinquish space, potentially making its high-bay warehouse redundant. Plans include a new pedestrian bridge connecting Hausmannsplatz to the district, enhancing accessibility.

Regional Agency leaders and Radium executives are optimistic about this collaborative transformation. However, there are concerns about possible contamination on the site, raised by the FDP faction. A recent workshop drew representatives from various regions and political groups, discussing the project's C status and the city's aspirations for higher urban development funding. This development promises to rejuvenate the Wupper riverside, aligning with the project's core idea of "New Shores Ahead."
