Sudden Passing of Strabag CEO Klemens Haselsteiner

Klemens Haselsteiner, the CEO of Austrian construction giant Strabag, has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 44. The young leader, son of the group's founder Hans-Peter Haselsteiner, died of natural causes, leaving the company and its employees in shock. Strabag is one of Europe's largest construction firms, boasting 86,000 employees and generating an annual revenue of 19 billion euros. The Haselsteiner family holds approximately 31% of the company, with other significant shares owned by Raiffeisen/Uniqa and Rasperia, linked to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
