This poignant narrative follows Floria, a nurse grappling with severe understaffing. Director Petra Volpe asserts that the challenges of nursing are not confined to Germany but resonate globally.

Lead actress Leonie Benesch, who portrayed Floria, acknowledged the emotional toll of the role, enhanced by insights from a medical consultant. Activist Franziska Böhler condemned the neglect of the nursing shortage in political discourse, labeling it a disgrace.

Currently, Germany is facing a critical shortfall, with 32,000 nursing positions projected to remain unfilled by 2024, highlighting an urgent need for systemic change in healthcare.
