Avalanche Tragedy in Uttarakhand: Rescue Efforts Hampered by Severe Weather

In the mountainous region of Uttarakhand, India, an avalanche has buried 57 construction workers in the Chamoli district, leaving 25 individuals still missing. The disaster struck amidst extreme weather conditions, with heavy snowfall and winds severely hindering rescue operations. Despite the adverse climate, specialized disaster response teams have been dispatched, utilizing helicopters to reach the affected site.
