Global Protests Mark International Women's Day

On International Women's Day, demonstrations took place across the globe, highlighting pressing issues such as gender inequality, violence against women, and the undervaluation of care work. In Germany, thousands gathered in cities like Cologne, Bonn, and Düsseldorf under the motto 'We fight, we strike, we live.' The focus was on poorly paid care work, predominantly undertaken by women and queer individuals, demanding better pay and recognition.
