Chilly Gray Days Ahead for Hesse

Hesse is bracing for a spell of gray weather with temperatures hovering between 6 and 9 degrees Celsius. The forecast suggests mostly dry conditions, although Thursday may see some rain, transitioning to snow at elevations of 200-400 meters. Friday will bring weak showers and cooler temperatures from 3 to 7 degrees. Saturday promises some relief with clouds giving way to clearer skies in the northwest and temperatures rising again to 6 to 9 degrees.

Neighboring regions like Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland will experience similar gray skies and occasional rain. Temperatures there are expected to range between 5 and 8 degrees, with snow possible at higher altitudes. Meanwhile, Berlin and Brandenburg will confront a covered sky and rain, with the mercury peaking at 10 degrees.

Despite the chilly outlook, these regions are not alone. Bavaria, too, anticipates snowfall, especially in higher areas like Oberfranken and the Alpine foothills. Here, snow levels could reach up to 20 centimeters at 1,500 meters, while lower altitudes might see a mix of rain and snow, with temperatures dropping to around 8 degrees in the Allgäu.
