Arson Incidents Involving Tesla Vehicles in Berlin
A troubling series of arson incidents unfolded in Berlin, where multiple Tesla vehicles were deliberately set ablaze. In a span of approximately thirty minutes, four Teslas ignited across two districts: Steglitz-Zehlendorf and Treptow-Köpenick.
While the fires caused significant damage, fortunately, no injuries were reported. The initial fire was spotted in Plänterwald, with further reports of additional blazes soon after.
A total of three Teslas were confirmed to have been fully consumed by flames, leaving them irreparable. Moreover, three other vehicles sustained damage due to the proximity of the fires.
The police response involved around eighteen officers, and investigations are currently underway to determine the motive behind these acts. Authorities have not yet established any direct links between the incidents, nor have they ruled out the possibility of political motivations.
The State Protection Service is actively involved in the investigation, assessing the circumstances surrounding these alarming events. As the investigation progresses, the community remains on alert, hoping for a swift resolution to these unsettling occurrences.
