Tragedy Strikes North Macedonia Nightclub

A devastating fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, has claimed the lives of at least 59 people, with many others injured. The incident occurred during a concert by the local band DNK, where pyrotechnics ignited a blaze that rapidly spread through the venue.

Reports indicate that around 1,500 attendees were present at the time of the tragedy. The government has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire, including allegations of corruption and illegal operations of the nightclub.

Authorities have detained 15 individuals, including officials from the Ministry of Economy. Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has expressed profound sorrow for the loss of young lives and has declared a week of national mourning.
