Sudden Weather Shift Brings Cool Temperatures and Storms

This weekend, areas in the west and south could face severe thunderstorms, accompanied by hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. The risk of flooding is significant, especially in Nordhessen, where up to 50 liters of rain per square meter may fall. Temperatures are expected to decline further, reaching lows of 13 to 16 degrees during the day and even ground frost at night.

As the week progresses, the weather is predicted to become drier and more stable, though temperatures will remain below the recent highs. The shift poses a risk to sensitive plants due to potential frost. In Berlin and Brandenburg, intense rain and possible hail are also forecasted, with wind speeds potentially reaching 100 kilometers per hour. People in affected areas should take precautionary measures to ensure safety.
