Starlink's Strategic Entry into India

India has granted a license to Elon Musk's Starlink, a satellite internet service, marking a significant expansion of Musk's business interests in the country. This development, announced by Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, facilitates the provision of high-speed internet to remote areas, addressing India's digital divide. Starlink's entry follows strategic partnerships with major Indian telecom providers Jio Platforms and Bharti Airtel.
