Historic Hue Flooded as Record Rainfall Causes Widespread Devastation

Recent record rainfall in central Vietnam has led to significant flooding, particularly impacting the historic city of Hue. Over 1,700mm of rain fell within just 24 hours, resulting in submerged streets and disrupted lives.

Tragically, at least ten fatalities have been reported, alongside extensive damage to homes and infrastructure. The floods have forced the evacuation of thousands and left many areas, including the Imperial City, under water.
