State Election: Thuringian BSW Accepts Invitation to Talks with CDU
The Thuringian BSW unanimously accepts the invitation of the CDU to hold talks. The goal is a new democratic culture.
The talks will be held by the state executive board and the elected members of the parliamentary group Katja Wolf and Steffen Schütz. CDU general secretary Christian Herrgott and CDU state party leader Mario Voigt are authorized, but there will be no coalition or exploratory talks.
State election results: AfD 32.8%, CDU 23.6%, BSW 15.8%, Left Party 13.1%, SPD 6.1%. Participation of AfD or Left Party is necessary for a government majority.
No coalition or cooperation with AfD.
