Meta Connect 2024 unveiled a range of groundbreaking products and updates, showcasing Meta's continued innovation in AI and AR technologies. The event introduced the Quest 3S, a more affordable mixed reality headset priced at $300, featuring a Snapdragon XR Gen 2 chip and enhanced storage options. In the realm of AI, Meta revealed the multimodal Llama 3.2 models, capable of impressive feats like interpreting charts and captioning images, though these models face restrictions in Europe due to regulatory concerns.

Meta also announced significant upgrades to its Ray-Ban smart glasses, including real-time video processing, language translation, and QR code scanning. These glasses now feature 'Reminders' to track tasks, further integrating AI into daily life.
