Meta Unveils Orion AR Glasses and New AI Innovations

Meta has introduced Orion, its first AR glasses prototype, featuring hand-tracking and a wrist-based neural interface. The company aims to refine Orion to be smaller, sleeker, and more affordable before its public release.

Additionally, Meta announced advancements in AI chatbot capabilities, including voice commands and the ability to mimic celebrities like Judi Dench and John Cena. New features will also include video generation and real-time language translation.

Despite these innovations, Meta's journey towards delivering metaverse products has faced challenges, with Reality Labs incurring significant losses. The high cost and technological complexities have been substantial hurdles.
