China Expands Influence in South America with New Megaport

In a significant development during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, China's President Xi Jinping and Peru's President Dina Boluarte inaugurated the Chancay megaport, marking the first Chinese-controlled port in South America.
