The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has escalated since the end of September, leading to significant destruction and loss of life in Lebanon. The attacks have also claimed the lives of numerous rescue workers, sparking outrage in Lebanon. Human Rights Watch has raised concerns that these killings could constitute war crimes. The international community is calling for a ceasefire, with the United States proposing a halt to hostilities and a withdrawal of Hezbollah behind the Litani River.
Despite these efforts, the conflict shows no signs of abating, as Israel intensifies its operations against Hezbollah, accusing the group of using ambulances and medical facilities to transport and store weapons. The situation remains tense, with ongoing airstrikes and military engagements continuing to impact the region heavily.
