A powerful snowstorm has struck South Korea, particularly impacting Seoul, where over 40 cm of snow has fallen. This storm marks the heaviest November snowfall in half a century.

The severe weather has led to the cancellation of more than 140 flights, significant disruptions at Incheon International Airport, and the suspension of 99 ferry routes. Tragically, the storm has claimed the lives of four individuals due to collapses and traffic incidents.

Numerous injuries have also been reported. As the city grapples with the aftermath, snow removal efforts are underway, and schools in the Gyeonggi province have closed.

The president has directed safety and transportation ministries to address the crisis effectively. While snow warnings have been lifted, the challenges of recovery remain significant, reflecting the storm's unprecedented impact on daily life and infrastructure.
