Far-Right Violence Sparks Nationwide Raids

A brutal attack on SPD politicians in Berlin by the neo-Nazi group 'Deutsche Jugend zuerst' has led to extensive police raids across several German states. The assault, which took place at an SPD information stand in Lichterfelde, resulted in injuries to both SPD members and police officers, with one officer facing racial insults. The attackers are known for participating in right-wing rallies nationwide and using violence against political opponents.

Police have conducted searches in multiple locations, including Wolfsburg, Aschersleben, and Halle an der Saale, targeting eight suspects associated with the extremist youth organization. The raids involved around 110 officers and led to the confiscation of mobile phones, digital storage media, clothing linked to the crime, and right-wing propaganda material. Among the suspects are individuals as young as 15 years old.
